Mickey Green

British drug trafficker who became a major figure in European cannabis and cocaine smuggling networks and spent years as one of the UK’s most wanted criminals.

Editorial standard

Convictions, acquittals, allegations, police intelligence and later memoir claims are kept separate. Cross-links are either documented relationships or explicitly contextual graph links.

From London crime to international trafficking

Green moved from robbery and traditional London crime into large-scale drug trafficking as European narcotics markets expanded.

Spain and the Netherlands

His operations were repeatedly associated with Spain and the Netherlands, two key logistical zones for British trafficking groups.

Most-wanted status

British law-enforcement agencies pursued Green for years, and press coverage turned him into one of the archetypal expatriate crime bosses of the 1980s and 1990s.

Legal complexity

Green was investigated and prosecuted in multiple jurisdictions, but not every allegation ended in conviction. The profile therefore distinguishes proved offences from intelligence assessments and press descriptions.

Graph role

Green links London professional criminals to European drug trafficking, Spain, the Netherlands and later British figures such as Curtis Warren.
