Branka Prpa

Branka Prpa is a contextual witness profile in the the archive State Security cluster. She was with Slavko Ćuruvija when he was murdered in 1999 and later became a significant witness in the criminal proceedings.

Eyewitness

Prpa was present during the attack in which Ćuruvija was killed and she was injured. Her account became central because she was the direct surviving eyewitness to the shooting.

Identification evidence

The final appellate decision attracted attention to the fact that Prpa had not identified the defendants as the men who carried out the killing.
