The 2008 federal Grape Street Crips prosecution targeted a PCP manufacturing and distribution conspiracy operating in Watts, San Bernardino County and beyond. Federal prosecutors identified Grape Street Crips leader Alphonso Eugene Foster and Santana Block Crips leader Kim Vernell Walker as leaders of the conspiracy. Foster and Walker were convicted in 2010; Walker received life in federal prison, Foster received life without parole, and Grape Street member Michael Edward Baker received 292 months. This case is therefore a major adjudicated bridge among the Grape Street and Santana Block organization nodes and several People profiles.
